Everything You Need to Know Before Requesting Your Proposal
We believe booking your Christmas entertainment should feel personal, straightforward and exciting.
Before you tell us about your event, we'd like you to know exactly how our pricing, availability and booking process works.
That means no surprises later — just a clear path from your initial request to a confirmed Christmas experience.
Your Investment
The rates you've just reviewed are our standard seasonal rates.
Your personalized proposal will be created specifically for your event based on the entertainers, experiences and services you select.
GST is additional to all pricing.
Booking Minimums
Most of our entertainers and experiences may be booked by the hour.
Our Grinch Impersonator requires a minimum 2-hour booking.
If your event requires additional time, multiple entertainers or additional experiences, these will be outlined individually in your proposal.
Travel
Our entertainers serve events throughout Calgary and surrounding communities.
Travel fees apply to events outside Calgary city limits and are calculated per entertainer booked.
If a travel fee applies to your event, it will be clearly outlined in your personalized proposal.
Advance Booking Rates
Book your holiday entertainment by October 31 to secure our standard seasonal rates.
Bookings made from November 1 through December 24 are subject to an additional $100 in-season booking fee.
Reserving Your Entertainer
Availability can change quickly during the Christmas season, so when your requested entertainer is available, we'll provide a temporary courtesy hold while you make your decision.
Before November 1
Your entertainer may be held for up to two weeks while you review your proposal and complete your booking.
November 1 – December 24
During our busiest season, your entertainer may be held for up to three days.
Your entertainer is not officially booked until payment and your signed agreement have been received.
If the hold expires before your booking is completed, the entertainer may be released and made available for another event.
What Happens When You Submit Your Request?
01 | You Tell Us About Your Event
Complete our Event Request Form with your event date, location, timing, guest count and the entertainers or experiences you're interested in.
Submitting the form does not commit you to a booking.
02 | We'll Give You a Call
This part is important to us.
You'll hear from a real person.
A member of our team will call you to talk through your event, confirm the details and make sure we understand exactly what you're looking for.
Christmas entertainment is personal, and we believe your booking experience should be too.
Sometimes a quick conversation also allows us to suggest timing, entertainers or experiences you may not have considered.
03 | We'll Create Your Personalized Proposal
Once we've spoken with you and confirmed availability, we'll prepare a custom proposal based on your event.
Your proposal will clearly outline your entertainment, services, travel if applicable, pricing and booking details.
04 | Choose Your Payment Method
Payment in full is required to secure your booking.
Your proposal will include a 3% administrative fee.
If you choose to pay by EFT, we'll remove the 3% administrative fee once your EFT payment has been received.
EFT payment must be received before the administrative fee can be removed.
05 | Sign Your Agreement
Once payment has been completed, you'll sign your entertainment agreement.
With your payment and agreement complete, your booking is officially confirmed.
Then our team takes it from there.
